BEM KM FEB UNY Improved MSME Management in Karangturi Village

The Student Organization Capacity Building Program Team (PPK Ormawa) of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Yogyakarta State University (BEM KM FEB UNY) held a program in Karangturi Village, Gantiwarno, Klaten, Central Java, Friday (6/14/2024).
The event was attended by 62 people, including the Vice Dean for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs of FEB UNY and accompanying lecturers, village officials, and community representatives. The Secretary of Karangturi Village, Candra Teguh Prakoso, symbolically opened the event.
The head of the PPK Ormawa team, Nur Faqih, explained the six programs that will be implemented such as Aksara Man, Aksara Data, Aksara Pack, Aksara Legal, Aksara Marketing, and Aksara Fest. These programs aim to overcome MSME problems in the village. "We call this program AKSARA or Karangturi Business Acceleration," said Faqih.
Dr. Sutirman, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Dean of FEB UNY for AKA along with the supervising lecturer hope that this program will have a positive and sustainable impact on the Karangturi Village community.
This program will focus on developing an MSME database, production licensing, improving packaging quality, digital marketing, and empowering Karang Taruna youth. (tim)
