On Sunday (23/06/24), the Student Organization Capacity Building Program Team (PPK Ormawa) of the Student Executive Board (BEM) from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) held an event called “Data Aksara Program UMKM Data Collection” in Karangturi, Gantiwarno, Klaten.

The UMKM data collection activity aims to collect and manage 15 UMKM actor data to create an accurate and up-to-date database to formulate strategic steps to help develop UMKM in Karangturi Village.

The PPK Ormawa Team conducted door-to-door field visits to the homes of UMKM actors and conducted interviews. The interviews were assisted by instruments in the form of questionnaires to collect detailed and accurate data. In addition to interviews, the team also conducted observations of business conditions directly at the homes of UMKM actors.

The UMKM data collection participants consisted of 15 UMKM. They were enthusiastic in answering questions and sharing information related to their businesses. Business actors and the team discussed plans for training and mentoring activities for UMKM to create a sustainable UMKM.

The PPK Ormawa BEM KM FEB UNY Team would like to thank all parties who have contributed to this event. This data collection would help UMKM in Karangturi with their business unit to be managed properly and their business data to be accurate. (tim)
